Mike was a great captain! He was very knowledgeable on all the fish species and where and how to catch them! I caught a 30” redfish that day! I had so much fun! I would highly recommend him!

Captain Mike was the best guide we have had the opportunity to work with. He was Johnny on the spot with bait. He worked very hard to find the fish. He was personable and friendly. The price was very fair for the work he did and the value received. We will definitely call him again if we are ever in the area. Thank you Mike!

Highly recommend doing a day trip with Captain Mike! He was very helpful and kind and even packed up what we caught and sent us home with some fresh fish! Fun for the whole family! Would definitely like to do this again.

The Florida slot limits were tough to deal with. Captain worked hard to put us on the fish and teach us how to hook them. Let a lot of pretty fish go. The ones we could keep were delicious. I would do it again.

My spouse and I have accumulated more than 250 days of fishing experience with Charter Captains worldwide, participating in various tournaments. Captain Mike stands out among the top captains we've encountered, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to fish with him again. Indeed, we are in the process of planning another excursion with Mike. We spent two consecutive days fishing with him in early October 2023. Despite less-than-ideal conditions, evidenced by the struggles of other captains in locating fish, we remained consistently engaged, capturing 11 different species over the two days, including a magnificent trophy Redfish. Mike operates a modern, comfortable Bay Boat, well-suited for navigating the deep and shallow waters of the St. Augustine area. Captain Mike put us on the fish. This was my very first fishing charter and it blew away my expectations. Captain Mike was very accommodating, making sure that my family was comfortable, including my wife, who is prone to getting seasick. Captain Mike seemed like he really enjoyed helping people catch fish. The captain’s boat was well equipped, clean and comfortable. All you need to pack is sunscreen and a towel to wipe the fish slime off your hands because you will be catching fish. It was truly a fun experience that I would highly recommend and would definitely be doing it again.

If you want to catch fish then Mike is the man. Mike is the hardest working captain to make sure you catch fish that you can hire. Great guy, great boat, great fishing.
